What to expect from Trump as president
The world is in shock today as Donald
Trump has won the US presidential elections, and is set to enter the white
house as the president of the united states next year, and as unexpected as it
was, we can only imagine what will happen in the next four years.
As unpredictable as he is, Trump
is set to make some major changes in the next few years.
Immigration:
Though it is very unlikely for
him to build the infamous wall, Trump has vowed to overturn some policies that
Barack Obama has put in place in order to protect undocumented immigrants such as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA),
which allowed for immigrants who were brought illegally as children to temporarily
stay and work in the us.
Taxes:
Trump also promised to “have massive tax reform and
simplification” as well as “eliminate job-killing regulations”, and he is
expected to do so by cutting business rate to 15%, also reduce individual rates
to three brackets 12%, 25% and 33%, with 0% for many.
Foreign policy:
Trump has also pledged himself to make America safe again,
and that’s by destroying terrorist groups such as ISIS. He also said that he
will end the nuclear deal with Iran which he considers the number one state
sponsor of terrorism.
With that said, we
can only hope that he will make a positive change despite his controversial acts
and claims, and that is for the sake of the USA as much as for the whole world.
