New repport suggests Heath Ledger made a Joker shrine out of his apartment
Every once in a while, I find myself
leaning towards the bad guys in movies, and that’s usually caused by the good
performance of the actor, but my favorite villain role, and arguably the best
ever, is Heath Ledger’s joke in the movie “The Dark Knight”.
Everyone who watched the movie
enjoyed how unique the role was, except Heath Ledger himself, who tragically
passed due to an overdose in January 2008 only months before the movie
premiered. The late actor did posthumously win the best supporting actor Oscar
for that role.

Heath Ledger was very focused on portraying the role as perfectly and uniquely as possible, as shown by the “Joker diary” that he formed while locking himself up in a hotel room for weeks, and which contained some clown images, scene monologues and a snapshot from an early makeup test, also the words “BYE BYE” were written in the last page.
But lately, more evidence of Ledgers dedication emerged, as it was
reported that he had turned his apartment in Manhattan into a Joker sanctuary.
Inside the apartment, which was very clean, were found some researches about
the Jokers origins, some old Batman comics, small statues of clowns and some
recordings of him trying various Joker voice impressions.
Although we all enjoyed the award-winning role, it is widely believed
that his life was the ultimate price, as some believe that Heath Ledgers death
was caused by his obsession with role. RIP Heath ledger.
