Evidence suggests Columbus wasn't first to discover America

Right now, it is a fact that the United States of America is the most
powerful country in the world, but that definitely was not the case 600 years
ago, in fact, the land of America wasn’t known to exist until Christopher Columbus
first set sail in the Bahamas, or was it?
In 1492, Columbus had mistakenly landed
on an unknown land instead of japan, which was later known to be a part of the
American continent, or the new world as they called it. But there is evidence
that suggests that a muslim chinese named Zheng He was the first to discover America rather than
Columbus.

Zheng He was a Chinese explorer and diplomat in the 15th century, who was placed as the admiral in control of a huge fleet to undertake seven expeditions sponsored by the Ming government to Southeast Asia, South Asia, Western Asia, and East Africa from
The
map was brought to attention by Shanghai
lawyer, Liu Gang, who says he bought it from a local dealer for around $500,
and consists of a copy made in the 18th-century of a 1418 map which claims to
show the world that Zheng He discovered. It also shows that the
expeditions covered more land and that he discovered America more than 70 years
before Columbus.
It is not known whether the map is accurate or not, but that same map was used in Gavin Menzies book “who discovered
America?”. So much for Columbus Day!
